How to make Frozen Turkey Meatballs
- In a large mixing bowl add in your ground turkey, egg, almond flour, garlic powder, salt and black pepper. Mix together till everything is combined
- Let the ingredients set for 30 minutes in the fridge
- Using an ice cream scoop. Scoop into balls 25 meatballs (about 1.5 inch)
- Place the Meatballs on a lined baking sheet and freeze.
- Once they are frozen transfer the frozen meatballs into a gallon sized baggie.
How to bake frozen turkey meatballs
- Once you’re ready to cook the meatballs, pre-heat oven to 375F. Cook for 20 minutes flipping halfway. Make sure they come up to 165F.
Stovetop Directions
Heat skillet to medium heat. Place frozen meatballs into the hot skillet making sure to not over crowd the skillet. Cook 10-15 minutes flipping them often. Make sure they come up to 165F.
Substitutions
If you want to make lean turkey meatballs, use 97/3 ground turkey breast instead of ground turkey which has both dark meat and the skin typically.
If you don't have ground turkey, you may also use ground beef, ground chicken or Italian sausage.
What to serve with Oven Frozen Ground Turkey Meatballs
Serve the turkey meatballs with a homemade keto spaghetti sauce or a store bought one like Rao’s Marinara.
Serve on top of spaghetti squash, zoodles, or palmini noodles for an easy meal!

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
