Holy crap it’s officially Summer! Down here in Florida it has been feeling like Summer since April. I know I tend to complain about the heat, but I will take the heat over a blizzard any day. This born and raised Florida girl is not very cold tolerant!
Erica for the Disney Half Marathon in January but this heat is brutal. When I get up at 6am it already feels like it’s 80F and even after the sun goes down (~8:30pm) it’s still pretty hot out side.
Who doesn’t love a little last-minute 5k on a Sunday? @lara.lynne and I ran a fairly solid 14 minute mile…gotta start somewhere if we’re gonna rock the #disneymarathon in January, right!? Less than 6 months to get our time down to 12 minutes or less – we can totally do it! It definitely helped that it was the #sundae5k and we got to enjoy some pretty amazing ice cream from @treatsonthebeach! ???? Perfect way to end the morning!
Since that 5K neither of us have run or worked out eekkkkk. With working, blogging, chores, the holiday I’ve just become lazy. Yep, I admit it. I am far from perfect. I confess that I have gotten caught up with watching the last of The Game of Thrones, The Bachelorette, and Your Crazy Ex Girlfriend <—- So good. I was seriously LOL’ing.
So there you have it. My main excuse for not working out ^^^ Once I get into something, I tend to binge watch it until it’s over. Thankfully 2 of the 3 are over for the season so I can actually get some work done. Also I’ve been having a little bit on insomnia lately. Last night I went to bed at midnight and woke up at 2:30am and couldn’t go back to sleep. So I did what any sane person would do and went to work before the sun came up.
