FAQs

Are meatballs keto?

Yes these meatballs are keto. They have only 2g of carbs per serving and they are high in fat. Normal frozen meatballs typically contain bread or breadcrumbs which are higher in carbs and might not be a great idea if you’re following a keto diet.

Are meatballs good for keto?

These meatballs are specially good for a keto diet since they are low in carbs.

What can I use instead of breadcrumbs for keto meatballs

This recipe uses almond flour instead of breadcrumbs. Some recipes might call for ground up pork rinds or parmesan cheese or all 3.

Are meatballs high in carbs?

Typically meatballs that you buy from the store are higher in carbs because they use bread crumbs as the binder to hold them together. These baked keto meatballs do not.

How do you bind meatballs together?

The almond flour and eggs act as the binder in this low carb meatball recipe.
