As a keto nutritionist who follows a keto diet myself, I can relate and give insight for better success and compliance with a ketogenic diet.
As someone with a family history of cancer (both parents), metabolic syndrome, obesity, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia, I chose a ketogenic lifestyle as a preventative measure. What I did not realize was the added benefits she would immediately receive by following this lifestyle (weight loss, improved sleep, increased energy and decreased sugar cravings).

I attended Florida State University and The University of North Florida for her CADE undergraduate degree in nutrition. I completed my Master’s degree in Science of Nutrition from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville Florida.
I originally saw clients in person, but with the expanse of teleheath I have moved my practice to fully being virtual.
Over the past 10 years as a dietitian, I have worked in a wide variety of settings including Cardiovascular ICU, Out Patient Cancer Center, Hemodialysis Clinic and Long Term Care Facilities.
Engaging with patients throughout these settings made me realize I wanted to help people on a deeper level. I started my private practice to give clients the individualized care they need to regain their health.
Over the years with the emerging research linking ketogenic diets to health and longevity, I have slowly transitioned my practice to the low carb lifestyle.
I also run a food photography website with my best friend Erica, ForkAndLensStudio.com and I also have a website strictly devoted to bowling called Simply Bowling. In addition I am also a contributor at Food Drink Life.
