Air Fryer Chicken Thighs

Making these boneless skinless chicken thighs in the are fryer is incredibly easy! I always have a batch of my Paleo Teriyaki Sauce on hand so it speeds up this recipe! I’ve used this teriyaki sauce for this Air Fryer Teriyaki Salmon recipe, Teriyaki Blackstone Chicken Tenders and these Teriyaki Chicken Thighs on the Blackstone Griddle.

I love the combination of sweet and savory flavors that the teriyaki sauce brings out. These boneless skinless chicken thighs pairs perfectly with Air Fryer Brussel Sprouts or any of these low carb side dishes.

These chicken thighs are simply coated with the homemade teriyaki sauce and topped with sesame seeds and I served it with an easy side salad because I wasn’t in the mood to cook anything else LOL.

I tend to make it on nights I come home late from bowling league or when I’m super lazy, because it’s so easy to make!

Stovetop Directions

If you don’t have an air fryer you can still make these delicious teriyaki chicken thighs. Follow steps 1 and 2 above.

Then heat a cast iron skillet or frying pan over medium high heat. Add the chicken thighs and marinade to the skillet and cook for 6-8 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165F.

Substitutions

If you don’t have boneless skinless chicken thighs, bone in skin on chicken thighs or chicken breasts is another great option. You’ll just need to add a few minutes to the cooking time to ensure that they are fully cooked.

Be sure to check the internal temperature of the chicken and remove it when it reaches an internal temperature of 165F.

I made this recipe with chicken breasts, and it worked wonderfully. I was afraid they would be dry, but they turned out very juicy.
