The Corsori Air Fryer is one of my favorite kitchen tools. For someone like me who is always on the run, my air fryer has been a lifesaver. It’s a tool that comes in handy no matter what. I even use it in my RV for quick and easy recipes!

Whether it’s for making breakfast, meal prepping food for the week, or preparing dinner. It makes the clean-up process 10 times easier.

cooked Brussel sprouts in an air fryer basket

Brussels sprouts are one of those amazing foods that can be eaten as a snack or as a delicious side dish. The way they just crisped right up in the air fryer leaves your mouth watering.

This recipe has basic ingredients that you have in the kitchen for everyday use. This is honestly my new favorite way to make frozen Brussel sprouts.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag 16oz of frozen Brussels sprouts

These ingredients are optional

  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbs olive oil or avocado oil

How to prepare frozen Brussels sprouts

  1. Open the bag of Brussel sprouts and place them in the air fryer basket. Make sure that you have a single layer of Brussels sprouts so they can cook evenly.
  2. Set the temperature to 400F and cook for 8 minutes.
  3. Optional* take Brussels sprouts out of the air fryer basket and cut them in half.
  4. Put the Brussel sprouts in a medium bowl and toss with salt, pepper, and oil.
  5. Return the Brussels sprouts to the air fryer basket and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes or until they are crispy to your liking.

What to serve with Brussels sprouts

Brussels sprouts are one of those sides where you can eat them by themselves but also pair them with your favorite type of meat. Some of my personal favorites to pair air fryer Brussels sprouts are these Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken Thighs and Pan-Seared Steak.

Brussels sprouts are also perfect side items for your meal prep!

Brussels sprouts can be made in a lot of different ways they can be sautéed, roasted, and, steamed. Cast iron Brussels sprouts and bacon is another one of my favorite Brussel sprout recipes! Everything is better when you add bacon to it!

Brussels Sprout Nutrition

Did you know that Brussels sprouts are named after Brussels, Belgium? Brussels sprouts are part of the Cruciferous vegetable group, which also includes Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Kale, and Collard Greens.
Brussel sprouts are rich in vitamins and minerals like Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Calcium, Iron, and Potassium. Studies show that cruciferous vegetable intake reduces the risk of cardiovascular mortality and development of type 2 diabetes.

It’s also suggested that cruciferous vegetable intake may protect against the development of certain types of cancers.
