Ingredients
- Grass-Fed Ribeye steaks
- Uncured Bacon
- Seasonings: kosher salt, ground black pepper
Tips & Tricks
Since these are slightly smaller ribeyes than I typically use for air frying, I did not pre-heat the air fryer. In my normal air fryer ribeye recipe I use a 1# ribeye and it is pre-heated and cooked for 12 minutes total.
But if you are using thick cut bacon, you should be okay to pre-heat the air fryer. But if you use normal or uncured bacon, skip the pre-heating step or you might have burnt bacon and rare meat.
Or if you're using thick ribeyes, you can pre-heat the air fryer.

How to make Air fryer Bacon Wrapped Ribeye Steak
- First, let the ribeyes come to room temperature. Then, salt and pepper the steak. Stretch out the pieces of bacon to make them easier to wrap the steak.
- Then take one piece of bacon and wrap it around the steak. Next, take another piece of bacon and tuck one end under the first piece and wrap it around the steak. Repeat with the third piece of bacon and tuck the end into the bacon to secure it. Repeat with the other ribeye and bacon strips.
- Place the steak in the air fryer basket and cook for 7 minutes, flip the steak over and cook for an additional 6 minutes. This will result in a medium-rare steak.
- Open the air fryer basket and transfer your steak to a plate. Let sit for 5 minutes before eating. Top with butter or desired toppings.

Not even close to proper time and temperature estimations. At about 20 minutes they were still VERY rare.
Lara
Hi Luke, I'm sorry that your steaks did not come out at the proper temperature. Did you read my notes section? These ribeyes were smaller than my normal 1# ribeyes so I did not pre-heat the air fryer. If you have larger ribeyes you will want to pre-heat it. Also, were your ribeyes at room temperature before your cooked them? If they weren't they will come out more raw. Hope these tips help 🙂
