How to make air fried panko shrimp
- Preheat the air fryer at 390F for 5 minutes
- Add the egg to a shallow bowl and whisk until fluffy. Set aside.
- Add the panko bread crumbs, salt and pepper into another shallow bowl and combine well.
- Add a few shrimp to the egg mixture, coat completely.
- Then transfer the shrimp to the panko mixture. Coat shrimp complete with bread crumbs.
- Next transfer the shrimp to the air fryer basket. Place them in a single layer.
- Spray them lightly with avocado oil spray if you want them extra crispy.
- Cook for 8-9 minutes at 390F. No need to flip these shrimp.
Substitutions
You can use large shrimp if you can't find medium shrimp. Panko breadcrumbs work best, but you can use regular breadcrumbs in a pinch.
