What’s better than a nice cold cocktail on a hot summer day? An ice-cold cocktail packed full of vitamins, minerals, and probiotics (that still tastes delicious). Meet my Blueberry Celery Kombucha Cocktail.

So making kombucha has turned into a little obsession of mine. It’s so easy to make and it costs a fraction of the amount as a store-bought version.

The varieties you can make are almost limitless!

Today I wanted to test my kombucha making skills. I opted for a not-so typical ingredient, celery.

When you think of celery in cocktails you probably think of it as a garnish in a Bloody Mary, instead of as an ingredient in your (soon to be favorite) cocktail. Celery is way more than just a garnish or something you dip into dressing and fill up with peanut butter. I’m about to change the way you think about celery!

So to make this Blueberry Celery Kombucha Cocktail, I took some of my unflavored kombucha that I had left over (I will be posting the recipe soon on my blog). You can also buy unflavored kombucha from your local grocery store or health food store.

I simply added frozen blueberries and celery into my ninja (any high powdered blender will do) and blended on pulse. It came out perfectly smooth, without the need to add any liquid to the blender.

Then in a shaker (preferably one with a strainer on top just in case you didn’t blend everything perfectly smooth) add the blended mixture, vodka, and the kombucha. I added 2 cups of kombucha and 3oz of vodka.

You can also omit the vodka and make this into a mocktail.
