  • Raw whole chicken wings
  • Your favorite chicken seasoning or chicken dry rub

Tips & Tricks

If you can, allow the chicken to come to room temperature before throwing them on the smoker. Make sure the internal temperature of these chicken wings reaches at least 165F so you know they are fully cooked.

How to make Smoked Chicken Wings

  1. Turn the Smoker to 225F, and heat for about 15 minutes or until the smoker reaches temperature.
  2. Blot the chicken wings with a paper towel. Sprinkle with seasoning.
  3. Grease the grates and add the chicken wings.
  4. Insert thermometer and cook for 3 hours, flipping halfway. 
  5. Remove when the chicken reaches an internal temperature of at least 165F.

Oven Directions

Preheat oven to 400F.

Seasoning as directed above. Place chicken wings in a baking dish.

Cook for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165F.

Substitutions

If you do not have any chicken wings, you can use chicken drumsticks or thighs.

What to serve with Smoked Chicken Wings

You can serve it with Griddled Zucchini, Brussels Sprouts with Bacon, a berry salad, or this delicious Mashed Cauliflower as a side dish.

How to store

Store the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

How to reheat

Transfer the chicken wings to a microwave-safe plate. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes.
