How to make keto baked chicken wings

First, preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.  Then you will line 2 sheet pans with foil and place an oven safe rack on top of the foil.  Next, coat the rack with cooking spray.

Place the chicken wings in a large bowl along with the oil. Toss to coat evenly.  You then will add the remaining ingredients to the bowl. Toss the wings with the spice rub until they're coated.

Next arrange the chicken wings in a single layer on the rack. Then bake the wings for 30 minutes, then flip and bake the wings for 15 minutes more, or until crispy and golden brown.

Finally, garnish the wings with parsley before serving, if desired.

Tips for making crispy chicken wings

When cooking wings in the oven, you want to make sure that your wings are arranged in a single even layer. If you have large wings that are not detached into wings and drummettes then you may want to put the wings on a wire wrack to ensure that the heat is being distributed evenly to each wing.

How long to cook chicken wings in the oven

When baking your chicken wings you want to make sure that your oven is first preheated to 400 degree F.  The baking temperature of the wings is important especially when you are trying to get them to taste like a crispy fried wings.

With this keto baked chicken wing recipe, you are going to be starting off by baking the wings for about 30 minutes in the oven. After the thirty minutes is up, you want to flip over the wings and place them back in the oven to cook for about another 15 minutes or until your wings turn that beautiful golden brown color.

Flipping the wings during the cooking process is done to allow your wings to have a nice even crispy throughout.

How to reheat chicken wings

Preheat oven to 350F. While the oven is preheating remove the chicken wings from the fridge. Allow them to come to room temperature.

Once the wings are at room temperature, place them in a single layer, on a sheet pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Bake wings for about 5-6 minutes on one side and then flip them over and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes.

You can also reheat chicken wings in the air fryer! Simply preheat air fryer to 390F and cook for 4-5 minutes until wings are hot an crispy.
