Ingredients

  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 lemon juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4-6 boneless chicken thighs
  • ¼ cup chicken broth to deglaze

Instructions

  • In a large bowl add the honey, lemon juice, lemon pepper seasoning and salt. Whisk until honey is less thick.
  • Next add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat with honey mixture.
  • Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken thighs for 3 minutes on each side.
  • Add the chicken broth and scrape the burnt bits with a wooden spoon. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for another 5-6 minutes, coating the chicken with the glaze.
  • Remove from heat when the chicken thighs reach an internal temperature of 165F.
