Blackened Walleye 
This Blackened Walleye on the skillet is just easy and delicious. Walleye is one of my favorite types of freshwater fish. You can create some great recipes with it. Walleye is full of flavor and when you add the seasonings from this recipe it brings out the natural subtle sweet taste.

3  walleye filets  4-5 oz each 1  tablespoon  smoked paprika 1  teaspoon  cayenne 1  teaspoon  Italian seasoning  or thyme, basil, and oregano seasonings ½  teaspoon  salt ½  teaspoon  garlic powder ½  teaspoon  onion powder ½  teaspoon  black pepper 2  tablespoon  avocado oil Check the walleye for pin bones. Remove them, you may need tweezers or pliers if they're really stuck in place.
In a small bowl combine all of the seasonings.
Sprinkle the seasonings on top of the walleye
In a large skillet heat up 2 tablespoon of avocado oil over medium high heat.
Cook the walleye for 2-3 minutes on each side until it reaches an internal temperature of 145F.
