Ingredients

  • 4 corn on the cob fresh
  • 1 tablespoon Avocado oil or other high heat oil
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Grass-fed butter
  • Parsley or cotija cheese optional toppings

Instructions

  • First, remove the husk from the corn and remove as many strands as possible.
  • Then, wash the corn.
  • Turn the griddle on to medium heat; once the griddle is hot, add avocado oil and then the corn.
  • Cook the corn on all sides until it starts to char.
  • Next, add a few tablespoons of water to the griddle to start steaming the corn. Repeat this process until the corn is tender. If you have a dome, you can place it over the corn to help speed up the steaming process.
