Equipment

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • salt and pepper optional

Instructions

  • Place eggs in the air fryer basket. Set temperature to 250F and timer to 17 minutes for hard boiled eggs.
  • Once the timer goes off, carefully transfer the eggs to a water bath (bowl of ice water) for 5-10 minutes or until the eggs are cool enough that you can peel the shells.
  • This method makes it super easy to peel the shells without losing any of the whites.

Notes

  • On your first time making a batch of air fryer hard boiled eggs, limit the amount of eggs you put into the basket to 4-5. The reason behind this is so that you learn the correct cooking temperature and time for your model of air fryer. Once you learn this you can add up to 12 egg at a time
  • If you're taking your eggs straight from the fridge and placing them directly into the air fryer you will need to add 2-3 minutes to the cook time.
