Crispy Air Fryer Bacon

Crispy bacon in the air fryer is a game changer! No more mess, super easy cleanup, and delicious bacon in less than 10 minutes! Your whole family will love this easy air fryer bacon recipe!

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • salt optional
  • pepper optional
  • balsamic glaze optional (skip if on keto)

Instructions

  • Place bacon slices in the air fryer basket. Add optional spices or balsamic if wanted. Make sure to only place a single layer of bacon in the bottom of the basket.
  • Change temperature to 350F and cook for 7 minutes if normal bacon and 9 minutes if thick cut or uncured bacon.
  • After it's done cooking, carefully transfer to a paper towel to absorb some of the oil.
  • Enjoy the crisp bacon! Store leftover pieces of bacon in a glass container in the fridge.

Notes

  • I used uncured bacon for the nutrition calculation and cooked for 9 minutes
  • If using thick-cut bacon or uncured bacon, flip bacon after 5 minutes to ensure bacon gets crispy. The thickness of your bacon greatly effects cooking time and crispness.
  • If using higher quality bacon I like to save the bacon fat or grease to cook with. Store in an air tight glass container such as a mason jar in the fridge.
  • If after the timer goes off and the bacon isn't as crispy as you'd like, cook the bacon for an extra minute and check for desired crispness.
