Air Fryer Peppers and Onions

Peppers and onions are a sweet and flavorful side dish that pairs great with many different main dishes. Cooking peppers and onions in the Air Fryer is simple and one of my favorite ways. It only takes about 10 minutes and makes a delicious topping for dishes like fajitas or on top of steak.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 red onion
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 bell pepper orange
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • First slice the onions and bell peppers.
  • Place the onions and peppers in a large baggie or bowl.
  • Next add the oil and seasonings. Massage the peppers and onions until they are evenly coated.
  • Transfer the peppers and onions to the air fryer basket.
  • Cook them at 390F for 8-10 minutes until desired doneness.
