Asparagus on the Blackstone Griddle

Making asparagus on the Blackstone Griddle is insanely easy to do! Crunchy delicious grilled asparagus is a healthy side dish. Minimal ingredients of garlic, salt, pepper and oil, this dish is done in no time at all!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound asparagus
  • 3 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon coarse salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Wash your asparagus. Snap off the ends of the asparagus.
  • Add the asparagus to a large baggie.
  • In a small bowl, add the oil, minced garlic, salt and pepper. Mix until combined.
  • Add the oil mixture to the baggie. Coat asparagus evenly with seasoning.
  • Heat up the Blackstone Griddle to medium-high heat.
  • Add the contents of the bag to the grill. Spread out the asparagus into a single layer.
  • Cook for about 5-6 minutes flipping and rotating the asparagus to cook evenly.
  • Remove from the grill. Enjoy.

Notes

  • Optionally top with parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes.
  • Great low carb side dish with only 3g net carbs per serving
