Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crispy.
Remove to a paper towel-lined plate, then roughly chop.
In the same pan with bacon fat, melt butter over high heat.
Add Brussels sprouts and cook, stirring occasionally, until sprouts are golden brown, 5-8 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper, to taste, and toss bacon back into pan.
Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and serve immediately.
Notes
For an added pop of flavor you can add some red pepper flakes top before serving
Also balsamic vinegar is a great addition to this dish as well
Cooking the Brussels sprouts in the pan with the bacon fat will give additional flavor, but if you're trying to reduce your fat intake you can remove with bacon grease before adding the butter.
