Free 1 Week Instant Pot Keto Diet Meal Plan

I’ve had a lot of people ask what I eat on a keto diet so I decided to make a post about what I eat in a week on a keto diet. Scroll all the way down to the bottom if you want to download the Free 1 week instant pot keto diet meal plan.

Some weeks like this week, I eat the same thing for 5 days. It’s just easier that way.

I don’t have to think about what I’m going to eat that day and I don’t have to worry about if I’m going to eat too many carbs and kick myself out of ketosis.

Every morning before work I’m not scrambling trying to figure out what I’m going to eat. All I have to do is make my coffee and pack up my pre-portioned lunch and snacks and off I go.

This allows me to sleep in a little longer too 🙂

I really love using my Instant Pot to meal prep! It literally cuts my prep time and stress in half!

I know a bunch of people just got their IPs on black Friday and cyber Monday so I wanted to get this out ASAP so you can utilize it and start seeing results!

Every morning I make to keto coffee. This is normally an iced coffee with heavy cream, protein powder and collagen peptides. Or if I’m in a breakfast eating mood that week, I’ll omit the protein powder and collagen peptides and opt for hard boiled eggs, a chia seed pudding and have bone broth with lunch so I don’t miss out on all of the beneficial nutrients collagen provides.

Lunch is shredded kitchen thighs cooked in coconut oil and topped with SF BBQ sauce with a side of Brussel sprouts and bone broth to drink.

Dinner is a large spinach salad with avocado and parmesan cheese topped with olive oil and some lemon juice; Salmon cooked with butter and dill with a side of asparagus.

Snacks are macadamia nuts and grass-fed cheese.

To save money I tend to shop at Aldi’s for a lot of food since they have the cheapest prices for organic foods, anti-biotic free foods and Kerry Gold grass-fed butter and cheeses.

They don’t have organic heavy whipping cream at the one near me, so I get that at Publix when I get my cold brew Starbucks coffee.

Also, Publix tends to have their green wise chicken BOGO free frequently so I stock up and store them in my freezer.

Hi Debbie, A keto diet is a low carb diet but a low carb diet is not necessarily a keto diet. With a keto diet your carbohydrate intake is low enough that it forces your body to use ketones for fuel. With a low carb diet, you carb intake could be low compared to a normal American diet but it may not be low enough to put you into ketosis. I hope this helps!

    Hi Lara,

I received your 1 week meal plan and I so appreciate it. I was just wondering if you had a planner calendar that goes with it that tells you what you eat at each meal. Sorry for my ignorance.

      Hi Dianna,

You’re welcome 🙂 It’s a bulk meal plan but you can eat the foods on any day you like.
