  • Simple Ingredients - this green bean recipe only requires 2 ingredients that you should be able to find at your local grocery store.
  • Low carb recipe - these bacon-wrapped green beans have just 7g total carbs and 5g net carbs per serving. And these are really large servings! It's a perfect side for anyone watching their carbohydrate intake.
  • Make ahead side - this green bean side dish can be prepped a day ahead of time. Simply store it in the fridge and pop it into the oven when you're ready to cook. Perfect if you don't have a lot of time to prep on the day you want to eat them.

Ingredients

  • Bacon - I used uncured bacon, but you can use your favorite bacon. If you are using thick-cut bacon it may take a little longer for the bacon to crisp up.
  • Green beans - I used pre-packaged green beans that were already washed and trimmed.

Don't forget to place a cooling rack down first. I would also line your baking sheet with foil or parchment paper for an easy clean-up. I kept it simple and used the bacon to flavor the green beans, but you can also season them with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
