Tips & tricks for making the best air fryer teriyaki salmon

Be sure not to overcook the salmon! Use a meat thermometer. The internal temperature should be 145F. For the most accurate reading, stick a thermometer into the thickest part of the salmon.

Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket with salmon. Use filets that are evenly cut and not different sizes.

How to store Salmon

Store leftover salmon in an airtight container for up to 2 days. A great idea would be to eat these leftovers for lunch the day after cooking them for dinner.

How to reheat

Reheat the leftover salmon in the microwave for the quickest results. Remove the lid of the airtight storage container or transfer it to a plate and cook for 1.5-2 minutes.

I normally make teriyaki salmon under the broiler, but after trying your air fryer recipe I will not do it any other way! The salmon was flaky and flavourful and not at all dry
